Overview
Embedding fair wage principles into the supply chain of manufacturing ecosystems through evidence-based implementation and stakeholder collaboration.
For over a decade, in partnership with the Fair Wage Network, INDEPTH has been working on operationalizing the Fair Wage Framework across apparel supply chains, with focus on transforming wage compliance from a social responsibility checkbox into a strategic business imperative.
Moving beyond standalone interventions, the work drives systemic change by examining wage structures, strengthening institutional dialogue, and enhancing organizational capabilities to create lasting value for both employers and employees.
By facilitating evidence-based decision-making and convening diverse stakeholders, from global buyers to factory workers, the assignment fosters transparency, trust, and shared accountability, reinforcing that resilient supply chains depend on equitable employment systems that balance commercial competitiveness with social responsibility.
As ESG expectations continue to evolve, this initiative positions fair wage implementation as an essential pillar of sustainable industrial growth and responsible global trade.
